At the event, Tyco Electronics will demonstrate next-generation high-speed interconnects for backplane and I/O products operating in the 20-25 Gb/s range. |

Along with the demonstrations, two technical papers will be presented by our circuits and design engineering department. The first will examine the correlation between statistics-based channel simulator tools and corresponding measured data for high-speed backplane channels. The second will show the correlation between test data and EMI simulation data from Ansoft's HIGH FREQUENCY STRUCTURE SIMULATOR (HFSS) for Tyco Electronics' SFP cages.

Products exhibited will include the STRADA MESA connector, CFP compliant 40 Gb and 100 Gb Ethernet connectors, and the new RJpoint fiveconnector system with double the port density of the standard RJ 45 Ethernet link.
